To Athens, for example, it's around 31 euros, much better than if you take the plane, three times cheaper, actually. There are 13 buses daily, so you can get there anytime. Destinations also include Ioannina (22 euros, five daily), Volos (13 euros, seven daily). They all leave from the main bus station in Salonic, but if you feel like going to Halkidiki (did you hear that half of the resort burned this summer???), you must go to the smaller bus terminal, in the eastern part of the city.
