What ancient sites or monuments are there to see in Kos island?(give a different answer) .
The father of medicine, Hippocrates, was born on this island...so there are enough things related to him to be discovered. North of Plateia Eleftherias, there is the tree under which the doctor himself is believed to have taught his pupils...Added to this, you can also have a look at the healing centre of Asklipieion, where Hippocrates practiced medicine (it's set on a hill, 4km southwest of the town of Kos)...Unlike the tree, here you have to pay an entrence fee of 4 euros or 3, supposing you are a student.
