I spent my last summer holiday at Kronos Hotel in Iraklio...Airy rooms, not very well-equipped, but confortable ...and breakfast was included in the price, I would have died without my morning coffee and toast. I payed 35 euros for a single room, I think it was around 45 for a double one. In fact, you can see for youself...near the old harbour and bus stations there is a cluster of mid-range hotels. Kronos (i guess u know it's the god of time?) is located in Sofokli Venizelou Street, nr. 2
